Okay maybe his intelligence was faulty. (god there are about 300 jokes for that line), but seriously you know somewhere along the line one of the people that work for him flat out lied about the WMD's. I appreciate your statment that he did not, but you know as well as I do the Commander of any unit can delegate all the authority there is, but he can not delegate responsibility. He is the one that has to decide. That is why he has the fancy office and makes the big bucks and has his own theme song.

That is the bottom line. He as leader was responsible making sure that the reasons he gave were true. Extra long range missles? I heard about them, but they never showed me any. Unmanned aircraft? Heard about them too. Only ones I have seen though are the ones we use.

Likie I said, I have no problem that we went in there. It needed to be done as it will be need doing in Iran, Syria, and North Korea. But don't hand me propoganda. I want the truth and then I will be more than willing to do what is necessary.

As I reason for going into Iraq that I would have agreed with. How is genocide? How is mass murder. Either of these is acceptable to me and should be to anyone with any humanity in them.

As much as I realize we have not found WMD in Iraq, I resent the implication that the president lied to us. We know Sadam had WMD, as he used them against the Kurds. Most nations had intel indicating Sadam had the stuff, and many liberal politicians stated the threat he posed with his weapons prior to W raising them as a reason for invasion. If you want to fault W for pushing that case much heavier than other reasons he stated, fine. But Bush is not the reason the intel we had was miserably incorrect. Our case is still strong for having invaded based on weapons, such as missles with longer than allowed range and undeclared unmanned planes, that violated the U.N. resolutions set against Sadam.

I agree he has a chance. I must say that I really do hope he prosecutes this war and takes care of business. I resent the fact that he or one of his minions made the decision to lie to us about why we are in there.

I think there was more than enough reason to take out the leadership of Iraq. I am a Jew and I am real sensitive to mass murder and genocide. The man and his family needed to die. I know that this is a harsh thing to say in this PC world. But that is reality. Hell if W saud that he wanted to go over there because they had tried to kill his Daddy I would have been for it.

But the WMD thing made us look real bad in the eyes of the world. I just wish we could have used something else for justification.

I have to respectfully disagree. While I have never met nor heard of a career politican who actually served anyone other than themselves, I think right now the president does represent the "Party of the Giants of American History." Along with Truman who made the hard choice necessary to end Japans involvement in WWII, Kennedy who put us on the moon and Regan who defied an evil empire, W will have a prominent place as a giant in this countrys history. Actually, let me word that more appropriately: W has A CHANCE to join the other giants in this countries history. I don't believe we will be able to judge this mans value to our country for at least a decade or two, possibly more. I don't mean this to be a cop out, but I believe we are still seeing the importance of Regans policies in places like the Ukraine and that his story did not end with him. I believe Bush's importance won't be understood until we see what happens in the middle east over the next 10-20 years. If it falls apart and can't put itself back together, he is a failed president. If it falls apart briefly, but is able to pick itself up, he is successful. And if it flourishes out of the gate the man will be a giant. Remember, the difference between an idiot and a genius is success.
